Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rajasthan Royals


Toss : Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bowl first

After sending to bat by Ajinkya Rahane Royal Challengers Bangalore batsmen were again not looking promising. Skipper Virat Kohli again struggles in the top order and scored only 23 runs off 25 balls. AB De Villiers again not able to perform and departed on 13 off 9 balls. Parthiv Patel again remains their top scorer with 67 runs. Shimron Hetmyer also got failed again as he scored just 1 run off 9 balls.

However, Marcus Stoinis and Moeen Ali, in the end, scored some quick runs and put them to at least a competitive total of 158 in the end. RCB’S batting line-up is indeed the best in this season IPL but unfortunately, they have not delivered according to the expectations of their fans. Underrated Shreyas Gopal was the unsung hero of the disaster of RCB’S batting line up. He took 3 wickets in his 4 overs and gave away 11 runs only.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Score : 158-4 in 20 overs.

In reply to RCB’S 158, RR batsmen were very steady from the beginning Ajinkya Rahane and Jos Butler gave them a fine start of 60 runs in 7 overs. After that Steve Smith and Rahul Tripathi look after the rest. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane scores 22 runs whereas his partner Jos Butler again scored a half-century and made 59 runs for his side. Steve Smith score 38 runs off 31 balls and Tripathi remain unbeaten on 34 in the end and took them over the line easily.

Rajasthan Royals Score : 164-3 in 19.5 overs

Man of the Match : Sheryas Gopal

Result: Rajasthan Royals beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets.
