Under the captaincy of young Shreyas Iyer, the Delhi Capitals were on top of their game as they were sent to bat by a Mumbai Indians they were up to the mark. Despite losing the young opener Prithvi Shaw early Shikhar Dhawan didn’t get panic and played his shorts and gave them a solid start skipper Shreyas Iyer got out on 16. Colin Ingram kept his good form from Psl and scored 47 runs off 32 balls after that it was Rishabh Pant show he toiled the Mumbai Indians Bowlers and dispatch them out of the park he played a cameo of 78 runs off 27 balls which include 7 fours and 7 sixes.
Delhi Capitals finishes with 213 runs for the lost of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Rahul Tewaitia also enjoyed the rampage in the end and also dispatch the bowl out of the park once. Keemo Paul and Axar Patel got out cheaply on 3 and 4 runs respectively. Mitchell McClenaghan was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets.

In Reply of Delhi Capitals 213, Mumbai Indians were bit disappointed as their captain Rohit Sharma was not looking impressive and got out after scoring just 14 runs. He was followed by Suryakumar Yadav who also left the field after scoring just 2 runs off 6 balls. Quinton De Kock did not make the use of good start which he gets and departed after scoring quickfire 27 runs off 16 balls.
The old hero Yuvraj Singh showed some promise and back the clock with a classy 50 as he added 53 runs for his team before African pair Kagiso Rabada and Imran Tahir compelled him to leave the field. Hard hitter Hardik Pandya does not travel the score at all and got out on 0.
His brother Krunal Pandya showed some resistance in the end by scoring 32 runs which include 5 fours and 1 huge six. Kagiso Rabada was the pick of the bowlers with 23 runs in his 4 overs including 2 wickets as well. Mumbai Indians only manages to score 176 runs in the end in 19.2 overs and Delhi Capitals seized the well-deserved victory over Mumbai Indians.
