Toss : Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first

Toss Controversy:

Well after winning the toss Sarfaraz Ahmed opted to bowl first which surprises everyone as the pitch was best for the batting. Aaron Finch got the desired out of the toss despite loosing it.

David Warner and Aaron Finch Rampage:

Australia had the best start after sending to bat first, the decision proving to be the wrong one from the 2nd over of the match when Shaheen Afridi went for plenty. Aaron Finch also got the life on 33 when he was dropped by Asif Ali. Asif Ali was out of touch as he dropped 3 catches in the match.

Aaron Fich and David Warner added 146 runs for the first wicket Fich departs after scoring 84 runs off 82 balls. David Warner however carried the good work an the other end and scored the well deserved century and was dismissed on 107 runs eventually.

Mohammad Amir Onslaught:

Mohammad Amir was the star with the ball with 5 wickets in the innings. The batting line collapses after the departure of David Warner. Glenn Maxwell, Shaun Marsh, Usman Khawaja and Steven Smith, they all left the field early and Australia bowled out even before 50 overs.

Australia Score : 3017-10 in 49 Overs

Pakistan Reply:

In reply of Australia 307 runs, Pakistan suffer from the early lost in the face of Fakhar Zaman on just 2 runs. Imam Ul Haq and Babar Azam consolidated the innings together and added 50 runs before Babar Azam departs of 28 runs.

Imam Ul Haq also scored a half-century and after his departure there was a bad collapse for Pakistan as Mohammad Hafeez followed him on individual score of 46 runs as well. Shoaib Malik out on 0 and Asif Ali scored just 5 runs. Sarfaraz Ahmed guided the innings to some extend with the tail.

Hasan Ali scored 32 runs on off 15 balls and played a cameo. wahab Riaz also scored 45 runs. Sarfaraz Ahmed also scored 40 runs off 48 balls.

Pakistan Score : 266-10 in 45.4 Overs

Result : Australia beat Pakistan by 41 runs.
